I’m a genderfluid queer woman, influenced by the environment I live in, my community and it’s history. I want to give people agency through my designs by creating garments and body art that voice emotions and connections. I create an outlet for expression. I do this for myself, for my community and for those who came before me and created the possibility for me to do so.
I aim to question and expand the concepts of gender binaries and norms, and embrace a bigger scale of expressions in costume design not limited to binary genders. I’m constantly pushing the boundaries
I work with all kinds of materials, I transform and up-cycle, and I never compromise on sustainability and ethics. I work in an alternate universe floating between fantasy and reality, coated with glitter and created with alternative materials, always finding a way to keep my hands and mind busy. I see opportunity in obstacles, and I enjoy finding new approaches to a project.
I believe that collaboration creates community and can bring variety, diversity and inspiration to every project.
I am constantly evolving, always curious, always conscious, always creating.
